Inspection & Audit Program of Existing Facilities

A comprehensive and accurate management of telecommunication infrastructure assets (monopole, electricity pole, towers, rooftop, lighting pole) ensures the long term viability of such assets.

AVI can conduct a comprehensive site inspection programme to provide a detailed snapshot of currently installed network assets to provides carriers with the necessary information for future planning, costing and decision making by multiple stakeholders. This also provides an opportunity for cross-checking and updating of inventory records.

For co-located assets such as rooftops or towers, the management of rooftop space or tower space typically rests with the host carrier and their property service manager. However, determining the ownership and operational status of all communication equipment on the asset by different carriers can be confusing and challenging.

AVI Engineering will independently audit your tower or building rooftop, provide a registry of assets and locations of all carriers headframe, mounts, equipment, shelters, cable runs etc.

Our audits undertaken detail all equipment and can range from the basic spreadsheet printout checklist (provided by carriers), a detailed 2D CAD redline mark-up from existing as-builts or FCs, or our newly developed full 3D site modelling – providing full 1:1 scale accuracy down to equipment serial numbers.
